Congratulations to Florian LUGOU, supervised by Ludovic APVRILLE (Télécom PARISTECH) and Aurélien FRANCILLON, who defended his doctoral thesis on Thursday 8 February 2018 at EURECOM. This is the first Doctor of the year 2018! His thesis topic was about "Environments for Analyzing the Security of Smart Objects".

Digital Security is the third teacher-researcher awarded an ERC to EURECOM with its BITCRUMPS project, "Towards a Reliable and Automated Analysis of Compromised Systems» Earned in December 2017. The main objective of BITCRUMBS is to rethink what we call the “incident response” (IR).

Antitza Dantcheva and Jean-Luc Dugelay will talk about "The history of biometrics: from Alphonse Bertillon to the iPhone X".
