Doctoral program

INTRODUCTION

EURECOM offers students with a Master’s degree in research or the equivalent the opportunity to earn a doctoral degree by working on a thesis in one of its laboratories.

Registration in doctoral schools

Candidates for a EURECOM doctoral degree can register in one of the following doctoral schools where EURECOM is recognized as a lab :

While working on a thesis at EURECOM, and under the direction of their teachers-researchers, doctoral students must respect the rules of the doctoral school where they registered.

Terms

The duration of a thesis at EURECOM is about three years, and research topics are in line with its research program. All of EURECOM’s doctoral students are paid while working on their thesis through EURECOM’s funding system, or through a research contract of public funding.

Admission

All Phd vacancies are published on the main page of EURECOM's website ("Jobs"). Students should apply by following the procedures described in the vacancy. The required documents include a résumé, a cover letter and one or two letters of recommendation. It is also recommended to attach detailed information on the previous studies with transcripts.
