EURECOM's Communication Systems Department, one of Europe's premier research labs in communications and networking, invites applications at PhD levels. The position is to be filled ASAP. The position is as part of the project ``Computing Nonlinear Functions over Communication Networks (SENSIBILITÉ)" supported by the European Research Council (ERC) with a focus on Distributed Computation and Communication Tradeoffs over Networks.

The position is as part of the Networks of the Future PEPR supported by the French National Agency for Research (ANR) with a focus on the Foundations of Communication Networks.

The selected candidate will conduct fundamental research in the areas of Quantum Information, Quantum Statistics, Quantum Learning and Classical Information Theory, broadly specified. Topics include but are not limited to 1) One-shot quantum information theory, 2) Quantum PAC Learning, 3) Error Exponents and Renyi Divergences, 4) Classical Information Theory, among others.

EURECOM’s Communication System Department invites applications for multiple full-time, 18-month research engineering positions (M/F) to work on a 5G NR D2D/V2X on the Open5G Software Defined Radio (SDR) platform OpenAirInterface.

The selected candidates will conduct fundamental, independent research in the area of goal-oriented semantic communication, covering various aspects and approaches, ranging from information theory to machine learning. The position is funded by the National Acceleration Strategy PEPR project (eligibility restrictions may apply).
