  • Lusheng Wang was born in China in 1981. He received his B. Sc. in Communications Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2004, and Ph. D. in Computer Science and Networks from Télécom ParisTech (formerly ENST)
  • He then worked as a Post-doctoral in CITI laboratory
    of INSA-Lyon for 10 months, and joined EURECOM as a Post-doctoral fellow in January 2011.
  • His previous and current works involve several research projects with the following research topics:
    • EC FP7 EuroNF (continuation of EuroNGI and EuroFGI): European next and future generation Internet
    • Topic: network selection in heterogeneous wireless networks
    • ANR BANET: Body area networks and technologies
    • Topic: inter-BAN interference and multi-BAN coexistence
    • EC FP7 CONECT: Cooperative networking for high capacity transport architecture
    • Topic: Cooperative scheduling in LTE networks against inter-cell
    • interference, Inter-cell interference coordination (ICIC) oriented
    • UE grouping for dense LTE cells
  • His research interests mainly focus on MAC and network layers, including:
    • resource management in wireless networks
    • cooperative scheduling
    • heterogeneous wireless networks, body area networks, LTE/LTE-Advanced
    • decision theory, combinatorial optimization and game theory.
  • Moreover, he worked as a research engineer at EURECOM for the development of the 4G simulation platform OPENAIRINTERFACE, concerning cooperative scheduling module, configuration generator functionality of the platform, etc.
  • He regularly serves as a TPC member of Advanced International Conference on Telecommunications (AICT) and IEEE Consumer Communications & Networking Conference (CCNC) short paper session. Moreover, he serves as a reviewer for several well known international conferences and journals, including IEEE VT Magazine, The Computer Journal (Oxford journals), IEEE VTC, IEEE WCNC, IEEE Globecom, etc.
