Luigi Vigneri was born in Galatina (Italy) in 1989.
In 2011 he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Information Engineering from Università del Salento.
In 2014 he obtained his Master of Science from the Politecnico di Torino for his thesis entitled "Traffic monitor and user profiler for Android devices" written during a six month internship in Technicolor in Paris. During his MoS he joined the Double Degree program in collaboration with Telecom ParisTech and the Eurecom Institute.
In 2014 he started his Ph.D under the supervision of Thrasyvoulos Spyropoulos (Eurecom) and Chadi Barakat (INRIA). His current research interest is for storage in mobile cloud computing
