Ba-Hien TRAN is currently a PhD student within the Data Science department of EURECOM in Sophia-Antipolis, France, under the supervision of Professor Maurizio Filippone. His research focuses on Accelerating Inference for Deep Probabilistic Modeling.
In 2016, he received a Bachelor of Science degree with honours in Computer Science from Vietnam National University, HCMC. His thesis investigated Deep Learning approaches for data-driven image captioning.
In 2020, he received a Master of Science in Engineering degree in Data Science from Télécom Paris. His thesis focused on Bayesian Inference for Deep Neural Networks under the supervision of Professor Maurizio FILIPPONE.
