Photios A. Stavrou (M'16-SM'22) received his Diploma of Engineering in 2008 from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) of the faculty of Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in Greece and his Ph.D degree from the Department of ECE of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Cyprus, in Cyprus.
From November of 2017 to August 2022, he was a postdoc and senior researcher at Aalborg University, KTH Royal Institute of Technology and EURECOM, respectively.
As of September 2022 he is an Assistant Professor within the Communication Systems Department in EURECOM at Sophia-Antipolis in France.
His research interests can be categorized into: information theory, stochastic control, optimization, game theory.
Experience
- From 2016 to 2017 he was a postdoc at Aalborg University, Denmark.
- From 2017 to 2021 he was a postdoc and researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden.
- From 2021 to 2022 he was a senior research at EURECOM.
