education

  • Rakesh Mundlamuri is currently a Ph.D. student in the communication systems department at EURECOM - Sophia Antipolis, under the supervision of Prof. Florian Kaltenberger, working on the topic "Precise indoor localization in industrial environments using joint communication and radar sensing, localization for 5G and beyond."
  • He received his B. Tech. Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida, India, in 2018. From 2018 to 2019, he worked as a project assistant in the 5G testbed development project at the Dept. of Electrical Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, using OpenAirInterface. From 2019 to 2021, he has pursued his M. Sc. in mobile computing systems at EURECOM, France.
  • In his M. Sc., he worked on the topics real-time 5G mm-wave systems using OpenAirInterface and on the intersection of the topics sparse Bayesian learning and machine learning. In his master's thesis, he worked on the topic "Implementation of Joint communication and radar sensing algorithm in real-time 5G full-duplex system using OpenAirInterface."
  • His research interests include joint communication and sensing, machine learning in communication systems, and real-time systems.
