- Yingbo Li was born in China in 1983.
- He received the Bachelor degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), China in 2005.
- He received the Master Diploma of Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in February 2008.
- In October 2008 he started a Ph.D. thesis affilied to Telecom ParisTech in Video Summarization at EURECOM under the guidance of Prof. Bernard Merialdo.
