He received a B.Eng. (Honours) and a M.Eng. degrees in electrical engineering from McGill University ( http://www.ece.mcgill.ca ), Montreal, Canada, in 1992 and 1993, respectively.
In 1997, received a PhD degree (docteur ès sciences) in communication systems from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL, http://www.epfl.ch).
