- SALIM El Ghalbzouri is currently a PhD student at the Communication Systems Department at EURECOM, under the supervision of Professor Adlen Ksentini. His research explores Artificial Intelligence-driven optimization for 6G networks, with a particular focus on Novel RAN resource management procedures in 6G. His work integrates advanced concepts such as Open-RAN and the use of Digital Twins to transform wireless communication systems.
-
In 2024, Salim earned his MSc in Engineering from the National Institute of Posts and Telecommunications (INPT) in Morocco, graduating with a GPA equivalent to 3.5/4.0. During his master’s thesis at EURECOM, he developed an innovative framework titled "Neural-Driven Control of RIS in 6G Networks: A GoSimRIS and xApp-Based Framework," which set a new benchmark in optimizing Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS).
-
Prior to this, Salim obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in 2021 after completing preparatory classes (MP – Mathematics and Physics) in Morocco from 2019 to 2021.
- Salim’s expertise lies at the crossroads of AI, software engineering, and next-generation wireless systems, enabling him to make meaningful contributions to advancing communication technologies.
