- Federico Brunero is currently a PhD student in the Communication Systems Department of EURECOM in Sophia Antipolis, France, under the supervision of Professor Petros Elia.

Thanks to the TOP-UIC joint project, he received his Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago in May 2019 and his master's degree in Communications and Computer Networks Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino in July 2019.
- He received his bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino in July 2017.
- His areas of interest include machine learning and neural networks, information and communication theory, channel coding, digital communications, digital signal processing, image and video processing.
