  • Simon Bozonnet was born in Oyonnax (France) in 1985. Simon Bozonnet obtained a diploma in electrical engineering from the INSA Lyon (France) -National Institute of Applied Sciences- in 2008 with specialization in Signal Processing in addition to a Master of Research in Images and Systems. As part of his studies he spent one year at KTH, Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
  • He undertook his Master’s thesis at the CEA (Nuclear Energy Center, Bruyères-le-Châtel, France) where he worked on signal fusion and intelligent systems for source localization. In October 2009 he moved to EURECOM (Sophia Antipolis, France) and joined the Multimedia Communications Department as a Ph.D. candidate with TelecomParisTech. His supervisor is Nicholas Evans.
  • His research interests include multimedia indexing, and specifically speaker diarization. He participated in LIA-EURECOM’s recent submission to the NIST RT`09 evaluation and contributes his expertise in speaker diarization to the national ‘ACAV’ project which aims to improve web accessibility for the visually and hearing impaired. Simon Bozonnet is a student member of the IEEE for 3 years.
