Beyza Bozdemiris currently a PhD student in the Digital Security department of EURECOM in Sophia-Antipolis, France, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Melek Önen.
She received her Bachelor’s degree in the Department of Mathematics from METU in 2014, and received her Master’s degree on Cryptography under the supervision of Ali DOĞANAKSOY and Fatih SULAK in the Institute of Applied Mathematics from METU in 2016. Her Master’s Thesis was carried out on Authenticated Encryption Scheme, and Statistical and Cryptographic Randomness Tests on the algorithms in the CAESAR Competition. Her thesis was supported from TÜBİTAK 3501 career project of Fatih SULAK that is about CAESAR: Competition for Authenticated Encryption: Security, Applicability and Robustness between November 2014 and December 2016.
The subject of her Master’s Thesis was the SAC Analysis of the algorithm of Pi-Cipher run in the CAESAR Competition. Her thesis improved the bit diffusion analysis of the algorithm.
