In 2003 I joined the "Politehnica" University of Bucharest, Romania, Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology Faculty. After 4 years there, in 2007, I started a Dual Diploma with TELECOM&Management SudParis, Evry, France. During the last year of Faculty in France, I followed the courses of "High Tech Imaging" specialization and in 2009 I graduated both "Politehnica" and TELECOM SudParis Universities and I also received a Master degree.
I finished my studies with a 6 month internship at France Telecom Recherche & Developpement in Rennes, working on the subject "Amelioration de techniques de compression video" within the laboratory TECH/OPERA (Audiovisuel and speech for quality).
Since October 2009, I have started my PhD with Télécom-ParisTech at France Telecom Research & Development in Rennes, with an industrial convention of research training, where I hold a position of research engineer. I work on the theme of "Structuration intra programmes de contenu TV", within the laboratory ACTS (Access to Content Technology Services), team specialization MAS (Multimedia Content Analysis technology). My thesis work will be supervised by Professor Bernard Merialdo in EURECOM.
