  • Ankit BHAMRI received the degree of Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) in Electrical & Electronics at Birla Institute of Technology & Science - Pilani, India in July, 2009. He spent a semester of his final year at Qualcomm India, as an Engineering Intern.
  • In November 2010, he has been awarded the degree of Master of Science (technology) in Communications Engineering with specialization in Radio Communications by Aalto University School of Science & Technology, Finland (Helsinki University of Technology)
  • He did his Master's Thesis under the supervision of Prof. Raymond Knopp and Assistant Prof. Florian Kaltenberger at EURECOM, France and Prof. Jyri Hämäläinen at Aalto University School of Science & Technology, Finland. The title of his thesis was "Distributed Coding and Modulation for 2-hop Communication via Relays". During his thesis work, he worked on the OpenAir Interface Platform by EURECOM, France and its partners.
  • In January 2011, he joined the Mobile Communication Department at EURECOM to work on his Doctoral thesis under the supervision of Prof. Raymond Knopp and Assistant Prof. Florian Kaltenberger in collaboration with Prof. Jyri Hämäläinen at Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering, Finland. He is primarily working on an EU project titled "Spectrum Aggregation and MU-MIMO: Real World Aspect (SAMURAI)". His research interests include MU-MIMO algorithms, cooperative communication and cognitive radios.
