Demo : UAV-aided autonomous 5G networks

In this demonstration, we showcase the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) to assist 5G networks. One of the UAVs is equipped with OpenAirInterface (OAI) 5G radio modules and acts as a 5G relay to provide seamless connectivity to another UAV that functions as an aerial terminal user. The 5G aerial relay automatically positions itself to ensure a reliable connection to the second UAV. The second UAV is also controlled through a 5G connection from a central ground station, providing communication for monitoring and control beyond the line of sight.
