Adaptive replication and replacement in P2P caches

Caching large audio and video files in a community of peers is a compelling application for P2P. Assuming an underlying DHT substrate for the caching community, we propose adaptive object replication and replacement strategies for P2P caches. One such strategy, Top-K MFR, is shown to provide near optimal performance.
