ICT Campus

An emblematic campus of a new creative dynamic dedicated to information and communication technologies

Since the start of the 2012 academic year, the SophiaTech campus has made it possible to bring together all the academic players around a single site: the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis, EURECOM, Inria, the CNRS and INRA; ie 2,500 students for a total staff of 3,500 people.

The purpose of the SophiaTech Campus is to develop synergies between the actors present on the site, to promote exchanges between students, teachers, researchers, competitiveness clusters and business creators, in particular by the presence:

- a branch of SATT Sud-Est (Technology Transfer Acceleration Company),
- the headquarters of KIC EIT ICT Labs, one of the 3 information and knowledge communities launched by the European Institute for Innovation and Technology,
- the collaborative platform Conception of the CIM PACA (Integrated Microelectronics Center).

It contributes to the attractiveness and influence of the territory of the Alpes-Maritimes.

The network of pedestrian circuits and footbridges, which structures the campus, has been designed to encourage meetings and facilitate exchanges.
