In particular, it will cover current components and practices related to container-based production systems running a typical CoreOS stack. This short journey will describe recent Linux APIs (namespaces, cgroups), system components (systemd, docker, rkt), distribution (ContainerLinux, ignition), security and auto-updates (dm-verity, omaha), languages (Go, Rust, C) and higher level topics (etcd, kubernetes). Bio: Luca is a Software Engineer at CoreOS, where he works on ContainerLinux, rkt and other Linux system components. He is a longtime Debian Developer and FLOSS supporter, contributing to projects like MAME, Rust and libuv. Before moving to Berlin, he was a security student and researcher at Eurecom.
