The OpenAirInterface emulation platform is an integrated tool allowing large-scale networking experimentation applicable to both evolving cellular and adhoc/mesh topologies. The platform in built to represent a realistic system in a controlled and real-time environment, which interacts with the external elements. The platform has a dual objective of performance evaluation of application and protocols as well as their testing and validation.
