Secret routing of messages in computer or cellular radio communications

Molva, Refik
Patent N°FR2763770

The routing of messages between a sender and a receiver is implemented through multiple nodes that communicate with each other. For each new message a route is established between the sender and the receiver, using a sub-set of the available communication nodes. A set of secret nodes is formed from the nodes on the determined route, and the message sent from a known node to all adjacent nodes. Each node on receiving the message checks whether the sending node is in the set of secret nodes, and if it is sends the message on. If it is not the message is removed from the network. Public key cryptography is used to determine membership of set of secret nodes.
