  • Thrasyvoulos Spyropoulos is very actively involved in a number of collaborative research projects with industry in the area of mobile networks.



  • Best-in-Session Presentation Award during INFOCOM 2016, for  "Optimal downlink and uplink user association in Backhaul-limited HetNets" written with his co-authors (Nikaein, Navid and Salim, Umer). 
  • His is the recipient of the Best Paper Award for the IEEE conference on Sensor and Ad Hoc Communications and Networks 2008, the Best Paper Award for IEEE WoWMoM 2012, and a runner-up for the best paper award for ACM MOBIHOC 2011.
