Carina Schmidt-Knorreck was born in Stuttgart (Germany) in 1982. She started with her studies in electrical engineering at the University of Stuttgart in 2002 and received her German diploma (equivalent to a master degree) in 2008.
Being participant of a double diploma program she persued her studies at TELECOM ParisTech, EURECOM (Sophia Antipolis, France) in 2006 and she received her French diploma in 2008.
During that period she did a 6 month internship at AMADEUS (Sophia Antipolis, France). Furthermore she worked on her Diplomarbeit at the System on Chip Laboratory of TELECOM ParisTech settled at EURECOM.
Since September 2008 she is working on her doctoral thesis at the Mobile Communications department at EURECOM under the supervision of Prof. Raymond Knopp.
