  • Giovanni Camurati is currently a Ph.D. student in the s3 group at the Digital Security Department. He works on the security of the Internet of Things, focusing on the design of innovative architectures able to answer the quest for more verifiability, trust and user control. The interaction with privacy, safety, reliability and all the major challenges of this technology are important research directions too. Great importance is given to the hardware/firmware interface.
  • He has been at Eurecom for his double-degree in Electronic Engineering with Télécom-ParisTech (Diplôme d'ingénieur)  and Politecnico di Torino (Laurea Magistrale). In 2014 he obtained is Bachelor with Honors from Politecnico di Torino.
  • Giovanni has worked six months in ARM as an intern in the CPU design team in Sophia-Antipolis. His research aimed at investigating and implementing hardware support for an innovative programming technique in a next-generation multi-core application processor. The topic is wide and requires multi-disciplinary and multi-layer knowledge and skills. His master degree thesis is based on this work.
