Arun Kumar Singh received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in 2001, and Master of Technology degree in Communication and Radar Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India in December 2002. From April 2003 to January 2009, he worked with the Space Applications Centre, Indian Space Research Organisation as Research Engineer for Geo Aided GPS Augmented Navigation (GAGAN) and Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS) Onboard Payload Development. Currently he is a doctoral student in the Mobile Communications Department of EURCOM.
His doctoral thesis work is on "Opportunistic and cooperative wireless networks: modern techniques for analysis, cooperation, encoding, control and resource allocation." This work is partly funded by Institute Telecom Scholarship. His other research interests are in satellite based navigation systems, wireless communications and communication signal processing including MIMO systems, OFDM, MC-CDMA and Space-Time Coding.
