Education & Work Experience
- Kalyana GOPALA is currently a PhD student in the Mobile Communications department of EURECOM in Sophia-Antipolis, France, under the supervision of Professor Dirk Slock.
- He received his Master's degree in Telecom from IISc Bangalore in 2003. His Master's Thesis was on "Synchronization for OFDM systems.
- From 2003 till 2008, He was working with Hellosoft India, (Now Imagination Technologies, India) where he worked on algorithm development and implementation for 802.11a/n technologies. Later, he worked with Beceem communications (Now Broadcom, India) where he worked on channel estimation for WiMax. He was last working with Xilinx, India where he worked on the FPGA implementation for Radio IPs.
- His research interests are in wireless communication systems and signal processing for communications.
