PhD Position – Thesis offer M/F (Reference: CS/FS/6G-GOALS/PHD/112023)
Description
The selected candidate will conduct fundamental research in the broad area of goal-oriented semantic communications for future wireless networks. The position is funded by a prestigious European collaborative project (EU SNS). Topics include but are not limited to:
- Information and communication theories
- Game theory
- Optimal transport theory
- Machine Learning
- Networked Control Systems
Requirements
- MSc degree completed or toward its completion
- Very strong mathematical background and analytic skills
- Provable knowledge on at least one of the following areas: information and communication theories, optimization theory, game theory, optimal transport, and machine learning will be greatly appreciated
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a group
