Description

The selected candidate will conduct fundamental research in the broad area of goal-oriented semantic communications for future wireless networks. The position is funded by a prestigious European collaborative project (EU SNS). Topics include but are not limited to:

  • Information and communication theories
  • Game theory
  • Optimal transport theory
  • Machine Learning
  • Networked Control Systems

Requirements

  • MSc degree completed or toward its completion
  • Very strong mathematical background and analytic skills
  • Provable knowledge on at least one of the following areas: information and communication theories, optimization theory, game theory, optimal transport, and machine learning will be greatly appreciated
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a group
