Patrick Loiseau Research

Research Interests

My research lies in the areas of game theory and statistics and their application to security, personal data and networks economics (designing better online systems and applications through good incentives). I like to work on problems that have both fundamental theoretical aspects and important practical applications. My main current research interests are in In the past, I also did research on large deviations and on some applications to network traffic and to heart-rate modeling, on long-range dependence and on statistical inference under sampling.


My research is generously funded by the french national agency (ANR), Institut Mines-Telecom, the Labex UCN@Sophia, the France-Berkeley fund, Symantec, the Data Transparency lab, Nokia and SAP.
