I am an Assistant Professor in the Data Science department
(Sophia-Antipolis, on the french Riviera). Before joining EURECOM, I spent one year at Inria Paris-Rocquencourt as a postdoc working with Julien Barral
and Michel Sorine; and one year at UC Santa Cruz as a postdoc working with John Musacchio
. I received my PhD in Computer Science from ENS Lyon (2009), where I was advised by Paulo Gonçalves
and Pascale Vicat-Blanc. Before my PhD, I received a M.Sc. in Physics from ENS Lyon (2006) and after my PhD, I received a M.Sc. in Mathematics from Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris 6) and Ecole Polytechnique (2010).
Since 2010, I have spent several long-term research visits at UC Berkeley (hosted by Jean Walrand
) and at MPI-SWS (hosted by Krishna Gummadi
), and a short-term visit at Univeristy of Waterloo (hosted by Ravi Mazumdar
My main research interests are in the areas of game theory and statistical learning and their application to security, personal data and network economics. Find out more on my research page

I will be a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems (MPI-SWS, Saarbrucken) starting March 1st, 2017.
- I defended my HDR on December 8, 2016, titled Combining game theory and statistical learning for security, privacy and network systems.
- My project CONNECTED was funded by ANR in the Tremplin - ERC program.
- Together with Rainer Böhme, Richard Clayton, Jens Grossklags, Katrina Ligett, and Galina Schwartz, I am guest-editor of a special issue on the economics of security and privacy of ACM TOIT.

- Oana Goga (MPI-SWS) and I have been awarded a research grant from the Data Transparency lab for our project “TranspAd: A Collaborative Tool to Bring Transparency to Targeted Advertising”.
