We propose an algorithm for real view reconstruction from 2D uncalibrated views of a 3D scene (without 3D CAD model) based on trilinear tensors. An initial view #2 can be reconstructed from the two others neighboring original views #1 and #3, without an explicit calibration stage as follow:
- Analysis step: Using seven or more corresponding points in the three original uncalibrated views, the eighteen parameters of a trilinear form can be estimated .
- Synthesis step: Using all corresponding points of the external images (#1 and #3) and the estimated parameters, the central view #2 is reconstructed using the appropriate algebraic system
