I am currently working on an asymmetrical approach for face recognition in which the enrollment is done in 3D and the authentication in 2D. At the moment, I mainly focus on eliminating the disadvantages introduced by facial expressions. I conduct this research under the project FAR 3D as a Ph.D. student in the Image Group at Multimedia Department of Eurecom.
