I, Jinbang Chen was born in China in 1984.
I enrolled into Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) in 2002, one of China's most distinguished higher-learning institution and received the Bachelor degree in Information and Communication Engineering at XJTU in 2006.
From Sep. 2006 to Nov. 2008, I was studying as graduate student at Politecnico di Torino (Polito, Polytechnic University of Turin) in Italy and did master thesis at Performance research of optimal routing algorithms for opportunistic networks with Prof. Paolo Giaccone. In Nov. 2008, I graduated from Polito with the final grade 110/110 and obtained my Master Diploma in Computer and Communication Networks Engineering (called "Ingegneria Telematica" in Italian).
From March 2009, I registered as a student of Telecom ParisTech and started my doctorate education at EURECOM in Sophia-Antipolis in France under the supervision of Prof. Guillaume Urvoy-Keller.
In general, my research focus on the following fields:
Especially, my current research lies in:
PS: This is quite nice an introduction-level book for computer networking. It keeps the focus on the essential concepts and principles in an easy-understanding way. This book is highly recommanded for the guys who are interested in computer networking and know quite few about it. I believe that you will greatly benefit from it.
PS: This is a nice reference book highly recommended by lots of people in networking field. Compared with the previous one mentioned above, this one is more comprehensive and written in a more specialized way.
When I was 3-year old, my grandpa went out of this world, who had named me "Jinbang" with the great expectation as what it means in Chinese. Nowadays, what I can recall about him is quite little and what he left in my mind is just a kindly face. Wish him be happy everyday in the paradise!
My childhood (between 6-year old and 13-year old) in elementary school impress me a lot, in which I enjoyed my cheerful and memorable time in my life.
