I think EURECOM differs from many other exchange possibilities in because it’s a small school with a lot of students arriving from abroad. In here the lecture groups are usually quite small and the professors can be easily approached. It has also been a great opportunity to get lots of new friends from different countries. Furthermore the courses in Eurecom are organized in English so it is not necessary to master the French language to be able to study in here. Naturally I find it easier to be able to learn French but being able to speak English sometimes.
Last but not the least, there’s no denying the fact that the southern France is a very nice place to live.“

 Here at EURECOM the international experience exchange students usually quest for is lived in an intensity I couldn’t imagine before. I am not only coming to know and appreciate the culture of my host country France. Due to the fact, that the majority of students and professors comes from a multitude of other countries, I also get the opportunity to get a picture of many different places of the world every day.The small classes and the familiar atmosphere permit a lot more exchange than lectures in usual universities would do.This way even very demanding topics are fun! In addition I’d rather not do without the chance to practise English in an international environment during the classes, while switching to French during the pauses and in everyday life.The opportunity to set an emphasis on a certain topic, in my case IT security, was a major facilitator for my choice of EURECOM. Despite the small size of the institute, I was surprised by the breadth of the courses offered. I found a lot more interesting topics than I could possibly fit into my schedule.But also apart from studies one does not get bored. The region, one of Europe’s most beautiful ones, offers many lovely places to visit, there is a large number of possible sport activities and - last but not least - the student’s office also organises quite a lot.

« EURECOM offre d’excellentes opportunités d’effectuer une thèse industrielle à l’étranger. Personnellement, cette expérience au Japon m’a poussée en dehors de ma zone de confort et je la considère comme l’une des plus intéressantes de ma vie en termes de risque et de bénéfices. 

Effectuer un stage en entreprise permet de voir l’application réelle de ses connaissances. Ce stage a renforcé mes compétences techniques et m’a appris à anticiper et à gérer les changements dans le cadre d’une entreprise. Par ailleurs, c’est une excellente occasion de saisir la réelle signification du management d’une équipe : comment définir des objectifs concrets, se motiver entre collègues et gérer les imprévus. 
   
Mon stage au Japon s’est révélé être une expérience encore plus incroyable que je ne l’avais imaginé. Je suis sûre que cette expérience m’a donné des connaissances et des compétences qui me serviront pour toute ma vie. J’encourage vivement tous les étudiants à saisir une telle opportunité ! »

EURECOM offre une formation dense, dans une atmosphère familiale. Comme tout le monde se déplace pour cette expérience, les étudiants prennent  vraiment le temps de faire connaissance et s'investissent très sincèrement dans les activités extra scolaires.

Rassurez-vous, il y a de nombreuses bonnes activités proposées par le BdE et le BdS.

Parler plusieurs langues aide beaucoup, à part celles connues il y a surtout le franglais, switzerdytsch (suisse allemand), francais rRRoulé charmant à l'italienne, éventuellement des nouvelles langues qu'on maîtrise à comprendre après quelques mois.

Sinon un grand choix de cours de langues prépare au départ en stage à l'étranger.
