Resume

Fabio Pianese got his B.S. in 2003 from Politecnico di Torino (Turin,

Italy) and his M.S. in 2004 from the University of Nice - Sophia Antipolis. He is currently working towards his Ph.D. under the guidance of Prof. E. Biersack. His studies are funded by France Telecom.

His main research subject is peer-to-peer content distribution, with a particular focus on live media streaming. His other related research interests are large-scale complex systems, distributed algorithms, games theory, security and trust in open networks.
