Resume |
Short Bio
Pietro Michiardi received a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the «Politecnico di Torino» in 2001. In 1999 he was granted a European Union scholarship and joined «EURECOM» to obtain a double M.S. in Communication Systems.
In 2000 Pietro joined EURECOM as a Research Engineer in the Network Security Team working on a project for the development of advanced security services for business transactions. In September 2001 Pietro joined «Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications» (ENST, Paris) as a Ph.D. candidate working on network security for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET).
During his Ph.D. Pietro worked under the supervision of Prof. Refik Molva in the Network Security Team at EURECOM.
He obtained his Ph.D. in December 2004 on the subject «Cooperation enforcement and network security mechanisms for mobile ad hoc networks».
Teaching
He is an Assistant Professor in the Networking and Security Department at EURECOM. His teaching activities focus on Web Technologies and Algorithm Design
