He defended brilliantly his PhD thesis at EURECOM on June 23, 2008 : "Representation and Analysis of Video Content for Automatic Object Extraction" Eric Galmar has been graduated in 2004 from ENSPS, a polyvalent French Graduate school in Physics and Computer Science. In the last year of his formation, he specialized in Computer Vision and Image Processing and obtained a "Master of Science" Image, Photonics and Cybernetics from the Louis Pasteur University (Strasbourg, France). He continued his PhD thesis in the field of video object extraction under the supervision of Benoit Huet from October 2004 to June 2008. His current research includes spatio-temporal video segmentation, graph based region fusion and video object indexing. |
