Marco Balduzzi a soutenu sa thèse à EURECOM le 15 décembre 2011 sur le thème : "Mesures automatisées de nouvelles menaces sur Internet". Il est né à Seriate (Italie) en 1982. Il a étudié l'Ingénierie Informatique à l'Université de Bergame où il a obtenu un Master (BAC+5) pour son mémoire intitulé «Virtualisation pour la sécurité : une nouvelle génération d'antivirus pour ordinateurs personnels».
Dans le cadre de sa maîtrise en 2005, il a passé six mois à l'Université des Sciences et des Technologies de Trondheim (Norvège) comme étudiant Erasmus. L'année suivante, il rejoint une société de sécurité informatique à Munich (Allemagne) pour un stage orienté sur la recherche d'une nouvelle architecture des systèmes pour la protection informatique.
Marco s'intéresse à Linux et aux logiciels libres depuis 2000 et a participé la même année à la création du Groupe d'Utilisateurs Linux de Bergame.
Depuis 2004, il travaille comme spécialiste en sécurité informatique et réseaux pour différentes sociétés de Milan (Italie), Munich (Allemagne) et Sophia-Antipolis (France).
En Octobre 2008, il rejoint EURECOM comme doctorant, où il travaille dans le groupe de recherche en Sécurité Appliquée iSecLab sous la direction du Prof. Engin Kirda. |
