This paper describes an IoT Platform for precision positioning service for highly autonomous driving (HAD). The platform fuses IoT with cooperative ITS technologies, protocols, and algorithms to achieve highly precise localization for future autonomous vehicles. The paper also offers an insight about the IoT Platform architecture, its functional components, prototype implementation, and best-practice guidelines.
