Indian press tour at EURECOM

Date

EURECOM recently had the privilege to host a delegation of 5 Indian journalists and the Head of CampusFrance India in the framework of a press coverage about French Higher Education.

EURECOM was selected as a relevant illustration of the French “Grande Ecole” in engineering science. For the last 10 years, EURECOM has been actively engaged in India, a booming country with a reputed education in engineering and technology, and has consequently enrolled more than 80 Indian students in its Msc, Post Master and Phd programs.

The journalists were greeted on EURECOM’s brand new campus in Sophia Antipolis by the director, Mr Ulrich FINGER and attended presentations in our main research and teaching departments. As part of this visit, they had the opportunity to meet with Mrs Leyla YUMER, Principal engineer of the SYMANTEC European lab located within the walls of EURECOM. This privileged partnership with SYMANTEC illustrates how closely EURECOM works with companies and the unique industrial exposure given to the students.

Their mission was completed by a meeting with current Indian students and alumni working in the Science Park Sophia Antipolis. Many alumni eagerly came back to EURECOM to take part in the meeting and share a positive feedback on their experience in France and more specifically in EURECOM.
