The Mosaic5G is an ecosystem of opensource platforms and use-cases for fast 4G-5G experimental system research and prototyping, created by Eurecom in 2015. It was formed to develop, promote, and share an agile software-based network service delivery platforms to rapidly explore new ideas as well as application and business needs. Mosaic5G allows research and industrial communities to explore advanced RAN and CN architectures towards a service-oriented architecture along the following directions: network slicing, control and user plane programmability, model-driven network service orchestration, and network application store and SDK.
