Towards service-oriented core network architecture in OAI

In this talk, we will present the 3GPPP service-oriented core network architecture and explore the implications of MEC, NFV, SDN in providing the required flexibility to enable the slicing for the mobile core network. We further discuss on how to re-architect the OAI core network toward a service-delivery platform. Technical challenges and potential applications of service-oriented core network and its interplay with the RAN will be also discussed.
