Haifan Yin received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and the M.Sc. degree in Electronics and Information Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China, in 2009 and 2012 respectively.
In September 2012, he joined the Mobile Communications Department of EURECOM as a Ph.D. student. He is now conducting research under the supervision of Prof. David Gesbert. His current research interests include large-scale multiple antenna systems, channel estimation, and cooperative networks.
From 2009 to 2011, he had been with Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics (WNLO), China, working on the implementation of TD-LTE systems as an R&D engineer. He designed the baseband circuit of a prototype for TD-LTE base station, and participated in physical layer programming
