Etudes

  • Rui Min was born in Shandong (China) in 1986. He obtained a bachelor's degree in software engineering from Xiamen University in 2008. During his undergraduate study he spent one year in Inha University (South Korea) as an exchange student. Then he pursued his Master's degree in France thanks to the Thales Academia scholarship (2008-2009), and in January 2010 he received his M.Sc. in "Communications and Computer Security" from Telecom ParisTech. During his Ms thesis internship he worked on face occlusion detection which aims to reinforce the stadium security.
  • Since March 2010 he is a PhD candidate at EURECOM in the Multimedia Imaging group (MIG) headed by Prof. Jean-Luc Dugelay. His current research focuses on the Security aspect of Facial Biometric Systems. His work is part of the French national project BIORAFALE.
