- Imran Latif was born in 1984 in Pakistan. After completing his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology Taxila Pakistan in October 2006, he joined the Technical University of Munich, Germany for Master studies in Communications Engineering. His focus of master studies was Communications Systems (CS).
- During his master studies in Germany he worked as an intern at Infineon Technologies AG Munich and also as working student at Siemens AG Munich.
- He completed his master studies in October 2009.
- In March 2010 he joined EURECOM as a doctoral student in Mobile Communications Department under the supervision of Professor Raymond Knopp.
