Haifan Yin (EURECOM PhD student from 2012 to 2015, supervised by David Gesbert and Laura Cottatellucci) whose thesis subject was "Interference mitigation in massive MIMO systems" defended his thesis in December 2015. He just won the Excellence price of the Chinese government for self-financed PhD of 2015. He was selected with 500 other PhD students worldwide, 15 of which are in France, and he ranked first in France. Congratulations to him and his supervisors!
